How to play
From castaway to tycoon.
- 01
Gather
Chop trees for wood, mine rock for stone, iron, gold and the odd diamond, and pick berries so you don't go hungry.
- 02
Trade
Sell what you gather at the Trading Post, and buy axes, pickaxes, shovels, a rod and blueprints.
- 03
Build
Place a blueprint, fill it with materials, and up goes a hut, a dock, a shed or a cabin.
- 04
Grow
Farmland, a supermarket, a mineshaft and a lumber mill keep earning while you play.
Controls
- WASDMove (or the arrow keys)

- RTake back your blueprint · twice to knock down your own building
- XDig or fill a path, with a shovel

On a phone or tablet, the game shows touch buttons instead. Days and nights last 7 minutes each, so build lamp posts or sleep in a bed.
Play with friends
Your island, their visit.
Every island has a six-letter code. Open Multiplayer on the title screen to copy yours, or an invite link, and send it to a friend.
- Friends visit while you play your island, and chop, mine and build alongside you
- Everyone keeps their own pack and coins, and can trade with T
- Only you can knock down what you built, and only they can knock down theirs
- Players connect to each other directly, with no account needed

Email accounts and help pages
Log in with your email, and get a link by email if you forget your password. Plus contact, refund, terms and privacy pages, and deleting your account from your profile.
Player cards on the leaderboard
Click anyone on the leaderboard to see their castaway, their coins and how many buildings their island has.
Accounts, a leaderboard and a gem shop
Make a free account to see the richest castaways, give yourself a name and a skin, and visit the gem shop.
Esc to leave your island
Press Esc (or Menu) on your island to head back to the website, or to change the settings.
Knock down your own buildings
Press R twice at a building you made to get its blueprint and half its materials back. Nobody else can knock down yours.
Fishing loot gets its own shop tab
And the rarest catches got rarer: the Golden Trout now turns up in just 1 catch in 1,000.
Fits small and sideways phones
The top bar now stays clear of the pack bar on short screens.
Supermarkets and farmland
Grow potatoes, then dig a path from your farmland to a supermarket and earn $200 every 2 minutes.
Joining from behind a VPN or firewall
The game can now connect friends through a relay when a direct connection is blocked.
Trading between friends
Swap items and coins with a friend on the same island.
